The world is a book
It has an beginning and a hook

The story begins with a battle
Angels are tossed out of heaven, down to the cattle
Among mankind, there is darkness and despair
Then the story continues with promises of an heir
The first family ended almost in despair
One brother killed in line of heir
But the battle continues as we follow along
How a small family, not mighty and strong
Received a command to go to a land
Now getting there, they did not understand
But they followed as God led the way
God working on them a mighty sway
They came to the promise land
Had a son who could maybe understand
That he was a promise from God
But the story dont end here, are you still on board?
We come to Jacob, son of Isaac
Stealing the birthright and almost making a reck
But this surplanter went on his way
His mother telling, you have no room here to stay
Your brother will kill you when your father has passed away
So Jacob went on to their familie, on the way
Cheated were Jacobs brother
For that Jacob did not bother
Received blessings from on high
In battle drew God so nigh
Blessing a family of trouble
Blessing double
A people they became
In all the world fame
Thats how it all began
Some has tried to bless them, others to ban
But the battle for a nation, a poeple, a heir of all the people went on
Culmination in Him that is the fond

So the story of Moses, Josva, Samuel, David
Each of them did their bit
They did their part in the battle
It were not all wealth and cattle
But a promise to be fulfilled
On the cross we see Him killed
Because his time were not yet to be
Times did flee
Before a kingdom on earth will appear
Some day it will be here
